About this Vehicle
The iconic MkIII Ford Escort was extensively used by a number of police forces in the UK. This particular one is a Strathclyde Police Patrol Car which would have been seen on the streets from the late 70’s to late 80’s. It has a fully functional roof light with rotating beacon which is removable for easy transporting to locations. It was recently pictured with Blythe Duff during the 40th Anniversary celebrations of the popular Glasgow based TV show 'Taggart'. This car is not currently fitted with two-tone siren as this was not a feature in these vehicle used by Strathclyde Police. One can be fitted if needed.
